Role Description The Secondary Hindi Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging Hindi lessons for middle school and secondary students, aligned with the school's curriculum and learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student work, and providing constructive feedback to support language development. The role also involves maintaining classroom discipline, collaborating with colleagues on academic and co-curricular activities, and communicating regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress. The teacher is expected to participate in school events, professional development sessions, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment. Qualifications
Strong Teaching skills with experience working with Middle School or secondary-level students. Ability to design, implement, and adapt Curriculum for Hindi language learning. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills for engaging students, families, and colleagues. Proficiency in spoken and written Hindi, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and accurately. Bachelor's degree in Hindi, Education, or a related field; B. Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred. Prior experience as a Hindi Teacher in a school setting is highly beneficial. Comfort using basic educational technology and digital tools to support teaching and assessment. Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching practices and ongoing professional growth.
