About this Role

This role champions the project and portfolio management methods and tools used across. Handles project management tools, collaborate with stakeholders, manage continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, documentation, analytics, and information. We are seeking an Engineer or Business Management background with 1 to 3 years of experience in project management and/or business processes. Generic knowledge of business processes is desired including product planning, product development, manufacturing, and associated business processes. Good understanding and experience in project management is ideal. Any experience with Project / Portfolio Management tools is added plus. Innovative and creative aptitude.

Key Responsibilities

Project coordination assists PMO team in maintaining project planning, schedules, budgets and deliverables in the PPM system.

Monitor and track project progress using PPM tool

Create and maintain data analytics and productivity tools such as dashboards, reports, repositories, data analytics, and lessons learned.

Administrate, manage, and customize PPM tool as per project requirements and / or enhancements.

Collaborate with stakeholders, facilitate meetings, record action items, and distribute progress reports to the project team.

Timely identification and escalation of potential project roadblocks and help in mitigation plans.

Update and maintain all relevant project documentation.

Improve and maintain SharePoint site for PMO operations.

Build & maintain standard templates, standard works, process documents, playbooks associated with PMO processes.

Collaborate with other functions to drive cross functional synergy.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field

+2 years of experience in business environment, preferably product development and/or project management

Ability to learn and adapt to fast paced business and engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience and expertise in one or more of these software tools – MS Project, JIRA, SharePoint, PPM/ERP/PLM systems, and MS office.

Expertise in O365 suite

Experience in Data Analytics

High level understanding of Product development and associated business processes.
