Inventory Control ClerkThis role is responsible for maintaining daily inventory activities. Must have knowledge of manufacturing, inventory, and supply chain management.Position Qualifications/Requirements:2+ years of experience in manufacturing, inventory, and supply chain managementAt least 1 year of experience as an inventory associate or relevant roleMust be able to sit, stand, climb stairs, bend, and lift up to 50 lbsPreferred Skills:Excellent foresight and communication skills, both written and verbalStrong critical thinking skillsStrong math skillsStrong planning and organizational skillsAbility to work independentlyForklift certifiedCore Duties:Maintaining and updating required inventory levels for goods, products, and materialsConducting quality checks on stored inventory to comply with company standardsProcessing and documenting returned itemsImplementing inventory management proceduresPerforming clerical functions such as answering calls, entering data into computers, and assisting customersMonitoring inventory losses and implementing loss-prevention programsPulling kits for builds in progressPulling parts sales ordersPrecisely record each incoming and outgoing shipmentNotify purchaser of low stockGreet the gate and hand out parts for builds in progressMaintain cleanliness of parts roomPrepare parts room for inventory quarterlyMaintain return kitsReceive all incoming inventoryCreate and scan item receipts in QuickbooksPackage all outgoing UPS shipmentsProvide weight and dimensions for outgoing shipmentsAssist in shipping as neededAdditional duties as assigned by the Inventory Manager or LeadHours:1st shift positionMonday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Special Requirements:Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.
