We are looking to hire an Underwriting Analysts for Secured against Gold and Non-Gold/ Unsecured Loans with specialized knowledge in credit underwriting. Underwriting Analyst is expected to have meticulous attention to detail, good negotiating skills and work according to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Secured Gold and Non-Gold/ Unsecured Underwriting Analyst Responsibilities:

• Mitigate company lending risk by carefully analyzing applicants’ information and making strong recommendations based on findings
• Work seamlessly with loan underwriting and biz team members to ensure a smooth, speedy application process for potential clients
• Evaluate and Review loan applications and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Analyze all areas of an applicant’s financial background, including employment history, credit reports, banking & asset information, borrowing history, repaying capacity, and other specific risk factors
• Uncover any undisclosed debt, cash flow issues, or other missing financial information
• Determine appropriate loan amounts for each applicant, adhering to company policies and financial health of customers
• Making loan eligibility decisions and approving or rejecting applications
• Documenting and effectively communicating reasons for the approval/ rejection of loans. Returning applications with additional documentation to the loan officer for review
• Preparing Reports on assessment findings& MIS of all approved/ declined/ under processed loans

Underwriting Analyst Skills and Other Requirements:

• Minimum Graduate degree in business, banking, finance, or a related field
• Good working knowledge of loans processing and relevant legal regulations
• 1 Year experience in Banking preferably in loan underwriting
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
