Specialist - catastrophe risk management

Are you excited by challenges and someone who seeks to find solution? We are looking for a talented and dynamic individual to join our Catastrophe Modelling team at Guy Carpenter. This role is based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to Gather, organize, and review raw exposure data from clients to ensure accuracy and completeness for catastrophe risk analyses Able to lead simple to medium-level Cat modelling projects Assist in preparing and formatting data inputs compatible with catastrophe risk models such as RMS, AIR, RQE, and GC internal models Support the execution of catastrophe risk models under the guidance of senior project team members Analyze model outputs and extract key risk metrics Prepare clear and concise summaries, presentations, and detailed reports to communicate potential risk exposures and loss results to clients Collaborate effectively with senior team members to incorporate feedback and refine analyses and deliverables Maintain documentation of data sources, assumptions, and methodologies to ensure transparency and reproducibility

What makes you stand you Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Basic understanding of catastrophe risk modeling concepts and tool Proficiency in data handling and formatting, with familiarity in tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar Good communication skills to prepare reports and presentations Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction from senior member
