Job Title: Senior Executive - Tax

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduates, Postgraduates with 3 - 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Indirect tax.

Roles and responsibilities:

Compliance Management

• Manage monthly and annual GST compliance for multiple clients across industries.
• Review GST returns, reconciliations (GSTR-2B vs books), and tax payment workings.
• Ensure timely filing and accuracy of returns in accordance with Indian GST laws.
• Support clients in responding to GST notices and departmental audits.

Tax Advisory Support

• Assist in drafting first-level tax advisory notes and technical memos on indirect tax matters.
• Conduct research on complex GST provisions, circulars, advanced rulings, and judicial precedents.
• Work on impact analysis and restructuring exercises under GST laws.

Customs & Trade Advisory (Preferred but not mandatory)

• Exposure to customs laws, import-export procedures, and FTP (Foreign Trade Policy) will be considered a plus.
• Assist in matters relating to classification, valuation, exemptions, and duty structures

Client Management & Internal Coordination

• Liaise with client tax teams for data collation, validation, and clarifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Present findings and insights to internal stakeholders or clients, where appropriate.

Knowledge and skills required:

• Hands-on experience with GST compliance and return filing.
• Basic understanding of tax advisory writing and tax law interpretation.
• Working knowledge of customs laws will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and tax compliance tools.
