Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse in Manahawkin, New Jersey This role involves assessing patients and assisting physicians with patient care in a telemetry unit. The nurse will develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans based on patient needs, perform therapeutic interventions, and ensure documentation aligns with clinical standards. The position emphasizes evidence-based practice and patient-centric care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week; weekends and holidays required as needed; no on-call requirement. The assignment duration is 13 weeks. Floating may be required as needed. The candidate must be highly reliable and available to work all days other than those pre-disclosed prior to offer, with no conflicting employment.
• Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 2 years recent telemetry nursing experience, including patient assessment, nursing care planning, therapeutic nursing interventions, and care management.
• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with an ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree required; BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred. Telemetry certification or competency exam is required.
• Licensure & Certifications: Valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license; BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association; NIHSS certification; Telemetry Certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• Additional Skills: Clinical documentation and evidence-based practice advocacy.
