If so, Aeroseal UK could offer the perfect next step.
We're looking for a practical, motivated and technically minded individual to join our growing team as a Lead Installer, delivering specialist airtightness installations across residential and construction projects throughout the region.
This is not a role where you'll spend your days managing spreadsheets or attending meetings. You'll be actively involved in every project, leading from the front and working alongside the installation team to deliver outstanding results on site.
About Aeroseal UK
Aeroseal UK works with leading housebuilders, developers and construction companies to improve the energy performance of buildings.
Using our innovative AeroBarrier system, we identify and seal air leakage within the building envelope, helping clients achieve demanding airtightness targets and improve building performance.
As demand for energy-efficient construction continues to grow, we're expanding our site teams and investing heavily in the people who will help drive our success.
About the Role
This is a site-based position covering Bedford, Northampton, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, London and surrounding areas.
You'll take ownership of installations from site arrival through to completion, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
While you'll have responsibility for leading projects on site, this remains a highly practical, hands-on role where you'll be actively involved in all aspects of the installation process.
Most projects are within the region, although you should be comfortable staying away from home when required, typically up to three nights per week.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead and deliver AeroBarrier installations on construction projects
Take ownership of projects from setup through to completion
Prepare buildings ahead of installation works
Carry out detailed sealing, preparation and finishing works
Set up and operate specialist installation equipment
Monitor quality, safety and site standards
Produce site reports, photos and installation records
Liaise professionally with site managers and clients
Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment
Support and guide additional installers when required
Help solve site challenges and identify practical solutions
Who This Role Would Suit
We're particularly interested in speaking with individuals who have built strong practical skills in areas such as:
Flooring installation
Decorating
Plastering or rendering
Drylining
Joinery installation
Interior fit-out
Property maintenance
Specialist construction installation
Airtightness testing
General construction and finishing trades
If you're someone who takes pride in preparation, precision and quality workmanship, your experience could transfer exceptionally well into this role.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Construction or building site experience
Full UK driving licence
Valid CSCS Card
Strong practical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
Excellent communication skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Comfortable staying away from home when required
High standards of workmanship and professionalism
Desirable
Airtightness testing experience
Experience using testing or diagnostic equipment
Previous experience leading projects or small teams
Knowledge of building envelopes or ventilation systems
Background in flooring, decorating, plastering, rendering, drylining, joinery or specialist installation work
Comprehensive Training Provided
You do not need previous AeroBarrier experience.
Successful candidates will complete a structured four-week training programme designed to build the technical knowledge, practical skills and confidence required to work independently and progress into a site leadership position.
Training includes:
Hands-on mentoring with experienced installers
Specialist equipment setup and operation
Airtightness and building performance principles
Installation techniques across multiple project types
Competency sign-offs throughout the programme
Ongoing coaching and development support
