An established architecture and design practice is seeking an experienced Architect to lead and grow its Baltimore office. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level professional to take ownership of a local team, strengthen client relationships, and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong architectural background, proven leadership experience, and the ability to balance project delivery, business development, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations and continued development of the Baltimore office.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners.
Identify new business opportunities and support the growth of the local practice.
Oversee project delivery from initial planning and design through construction.
Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and leadership to architects and project teams.
Ensure projects meet client expectations, quality standards, budgets, and schedules.
Collaborate with wider regional and national teams to support business objectives.
Represent the practice at industry events and develop a strong presence within the local market.
Experience & Qualifications
Professional degree in Architecture.
Registered Architect (RA) with an active licence, ideally in Maryland or eligible for reciprocity.
Significant experience within an architecture practice, including senior-level project and team leadership.
Proven ability to develop client relationships and contribute to business development.
Strong understanding of project management, financial performance, and practice operations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills. xzbcwsv
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects.
