What you'll do:
The Executive category management will be responsible for driving category growth by enhancing assortment, building strong partnerships, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience. This role involves close collaboration with sellers, brands, and internal teams to optimize category performance, improve product availability, and unlock new revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure best in class customer experience through compelling category assortment, strong site merchandising, world-class PDP’s, inspiring content, and excellent knowledge of consumer journeys for your category.
- Ensure Category growth through expanding Assortment, price leadership, Key partnerships, on-time launches and Category Monetization
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard partners/sellers that add value to the overall category offering
- Manage key partnerships & ensure they grow month-on-month by addressing gaps in their listing, price disparities against offline/online competition & healthy inventory cover
- Inventory planning & management to ensure availability of top products & brands at all times
- Build alternative revenue streams through multiple avenues from sellers & brands -onsite brand marketing, brand ads , innovative digital campaigns , co-marketing campaigns etc.
- Establish and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with internal and external business partners to drive best shopping experience
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a similar field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to use data and analysis to make recommendations and drive decisions
