• Reports to: Holiday Station Store Manager
• Classification: Non-Union
• Rate of Pay: Up to $16.50 hour / depending on experience
• Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

Responsibilities

• Make lasting connections with our customers
• Ring up customer purchases in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner
• Problem solve customer questions and/or concerns (may need to call a manager)
• Follow company guidelines on food safety
• Assist with inventory (be prepared to count)
• Help maintain a clean and safe store
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department

• Is friendly and outgoing and promotes customer service for the entire team
• Has experience working in retail
• Knows about gas pumps, security procedures and etiquette
• Understands the state and federal laws regarding the sale of tobacco, lottery and other regulated items
• Is flexible about being inside and sometimes outside performing tasks

Physical Requirements

FREQUENT: 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift.

OCCASIONAL: Approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift.

FREQUENT: Physical lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling to 2000 force pounds, equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine), reaching, standing, turning

Mental judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math

OCCASIONAL: Physical lifting/carrying over 50 lbs., equipment operation (calculator), squatting, stooping/bending, walking
