Process Engineer

OverviewA growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes within a plastics production environment. This role focuses on process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across molding, automation, and secondary manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of process development, equipment performance, and root cause analysis.

Job RequirementsSupport and optimize injection molding, blow molding, and secondary manufacturing processes.Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues to improve production reliability and process performance.Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address process deviations and recurring production issues.Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, improve yield, optimize cycle times, and increase overall equipment effectiveness.Support equipment qualification, process validation, commissioning, and production startup activities.Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing performance.Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and product quality.Support automation initiatives and process development activities within the manufacturing environment.
Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within plastics processing or molding operations.Hands-on experience with injection molding, blow molding, or related manufacturing processes.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.Experience with continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction, yield, cycle time, and process efficiency.Familiarity with equipment qualification, process validation, commissioning, and startup activities.Ability to work cross-functionally with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams. xzbcwsv Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
