• About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake & dbt Data Engineer with 6–12 years of experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Snowflake, dbt, SQL, Python, and cloud-based data transformation frameworks. The role involves building data pipelines, transforming data models, optimizing performance, and supporting enterprise analytics and reporting initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Build and maintain dbt models, macros, tests, and documentation.
• Develop and optimize ELT pipelines for enterprise data platforms.
• Create dimensional models, fact tables, and business data marts.
• Implement data quality checks and automated testing using dbt.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, storage, and compute costs.
• Develop reusable frameworks and standards for data engineering projects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and analytics teams to gather requirements.
• Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech or equivalent qualification.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud
• Strong expertise in dbt (Data Build Tool)
• Advanced SQL programming and query optimization
• Experience in Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modeling
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience with ETL/ELT development and optimization
• Knowledge of Snowflake features such as:
• Virtual Warehouses
• Streams & Tasks
• Time Travel
• Zero Copy Cloning
• Snowpipe
• Secure Data Sharing
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Git/GitHub version control

Pay range and compensation package

Experience: 6 – 12 Years
