Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a shift covering overnight hours in a healthcare facility located in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing critical patient care in a Level IV trauma setting, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations. The position requires maintaining a minimum of two years of ICU experience to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Job Details:

• Location: Roaring Spring, PA
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license, ACLS certification, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years ICU experience, and current NIHSS certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as DKA, STEMI, CVA, and Respiratory Failure
• Schedule: Night shifts; 12 hours per shift; at least 36 hours scheduled weekly
• Additional Information: The ICU unit has 1:6 patient ratios depending on patient status. Equipment includes ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), arterial lines, and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP). The unit primarily manages adult and geriatric patient populations and may require float to Medical-Surgical units if ICU is closed for a shift.
