Responsibilities:Lead integrated communications strategies across earned, digital, social, and owned media channels.Direct editorial strategy, content development, distribution, and audience growth initiatives.Develop strategic messaging around policy, political, advocacy, and organizational priorities.Oversee media relations, rapid-response communications, podcasts, newsletters, and digital campaigns.Manage communications staff, contractors, vendors, budgets, and performance goals.Coordinate communications initiatives to strengthen organizational visibility and audience engagement.Requirements:5+ years of experience in political communications, advocacy, public affairs, or related fields.Strong strategic writing, editing, media relations, and editorial judgment skills.Experience leading multi-channel communications strategies and audience growth initiatives.Strong understanding of political and advocacy communications, including rapid-response messaging.Leadership experience managing communications teams, contractors, vendors, or cross-functional projects.Experience with political campaigns, advocacy organizations, or political organizations strongly preferred.Experience with digital media, podcasts, newsletters, social media, or multimedia content strongly preferred.Tennessee political, government, or public affairs experience is highly valued.Compensation: Starting at $120,000 annually DOE, plus benefits.
