Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Fire & Safety professional to lead and drive EHS initiatives across plant operations and projects. The role will focus on ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying and mitigating workplace risks, strengthening fire and safety systems, and fostering a proactive safety culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the EHS Management System (ISO 45001) and safety policies.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, HIRA/JSA, and risk assessments .
- Manage Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO , and safe work practices for high-risk activities.
- Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations and ensure timely CAPA closure.
- Drive contractor safety management across project and operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal, statutory, and safety requirements .
- Manage fire safety, emergency preparedness, mock drills, and response plans .
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and employee/leadership engagement .
- Drive initiatives to build a proactive and positive safety culture .
Qualification & Experience
- 7–12 years of relevant EHS/Fire & Safety experience.
- Diploma/Certification in Industrial Safety (RLI/ADIS) .
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA , or equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience in project mobilization, execution, commissioning, and plant operations is preferred.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Reduction in LTIFR and workplace incidents .
- Completion of planned safety audits and inspections .
- Timely closure of CAPA and safety observations .
- Compliance with statutory and ISO requirements .
- Achievement of safety training completion targets .
