AVEVA PI Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AVEVA PI System / OSIsoft PI.
• Strong practical knowledge of PI Data Archive and PI Asset Framework (AF).
• Strong experience in integrating different types of industrial equipment and systems into PI.
• Experience with PI Interfaces and PI Connectors.
• Good understanding of industrial data acquisition and OT/IT integration concepts.
• Experience working with PLC, DCS, SCADA, historians, OPC, OPC DA/UA, or similar industrial communication technologies.
• Strong understanding of real-time and historical industrial data management.
• Experience with PI tags, tag configuration, data collection, data quality, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of PI AF templates, elements, attributes, and hierarchies.
• Experience with PI Analytics, Event Frames, and calculations is desirable.
• Knowledge of scripting/programming such as PowerShell, Python, SQL, or C# is an advantage.
• Experience with AVEVA PI Vision or similar visualization tools is desirable.
• Knowledge of industrial automation, process control, manufacturing systems, or OT environments is preferred.
• Must Have: 5+ years of AVEVA PI / OSIsoft PI experience Strong equipment integration experience
• Experience with PI Data Archive and PI AF Experience with PI Interfaces / Connectors Strong OT/industrial data integration knowledge
• Excellent English communication skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
