Key ResponsibilitiesExecute manual test cases to validate application functionality against business requirements, user stories, and expected behavior.Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.Identify, document, track, and verify defects to ensure timely resolution and product stability.Collaborate with development, business, and delivery teams to support reliable and high-quality software releases.Develop testing strategies covering both functional and non-functional requirements.Analyze test results and provide insights on product quality, risks, and areas for improvement.Support and mentor less experienced team members by sharing testing methodologies and best practices.Contribute to the enhancement of testing frameworks, processes, and quality assurance standards.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by recommending innovative testing approaches and tools.Ensure quality objectives are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.Strong experience in manual and functional testing.Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and methodologies.Working knowledge of Selenium for test automation.Experience with defect identification, tracking, and reporting processes.Ability to develop and execute test plans, test strategies, and testing documentation.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred QualificationsAdvanced expertise in Selenium-based automation testing.Experience with Atlassian Jira for defect management and test tracking.Knowledge of test automation frameworks and quality engineering best practices.Experience working in Agile software development environments. xzbcwsv Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience.
