Job Description

Job Role: UI/UX Researcher & Behavior Analyst

Location: Gurugram (On-site)

Company: iQuanta

About iQuanta

iQuanta is one of India's fastest-growing education companies, built on community-driven learning, and has scaled while staying profitable.

Position Overview

We are seeking a data-driven, strategic UX Researcher & Behavior Analyst to optimize user intuition and engagement across our digital platforms. In this role, you will systematically evaluate user heatmaps, session recordings, and behavioral analytics to identify drop-off points, non-intuitive flows, and friction within our web and mobile applications. You will not be tasked with high-fidelity visual design—our dedicated team of Figma UI developers handles visual creation and component execution. Instead, you will act as the UX strategist who translates quantitative user behavior into low-fidelity wireframes, detailed logic specs, and actionable UX improvements for the design team.

Core Responsibilities

Heatmap & Behavioral Diagnostics: Continuously analyze toolsets (e.g., Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Crazy Egg, Contentsquare) to track scroll depth, click maps, dead clicks, and rage clicks.

Friction & Drop-Off Identification: Audit conversion funnels, session recordings, and user journeys to isolate confusing interface elements, misleading navigation, and cognitive bottlenecks.

UX Strategy & Wireframing: Translate behavioral data into clear structural wireframes, user flow diagrams, and functional design briefs focused on making interfaces intuitive.

UI/Figma Team Collaboration: Deliver precise UX specs and behavioral contexts to our Figma UI developers, serving as the bridge between raw user data and visual design execution.

Experimentation & Testing: Formulate hypothesis-driven test plans, collaborate on setting up A/B tests, and measure post-implementation behavior to validate usability improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

Required

Experience: 3+ years of experience in UX Research, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), or Product Research for web and native mobile apps.

Behavioral Analytics Tools: Deep expertise with quantitative behavioral platforms such as Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Crazy Egg, Contentsquare, or FullStory.

Analytical Rigor: Proficiency working alongside product analytics (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, Amplitude) to tie user behaviors to overall funnel performance.

UX Specification: Ability to build clear structural wireframes and logical flow specs to communicate spatial layouts and user experience modifications clearly.

Cross-Functional Communication: Strong ability to collaborate with UI designers and developers, explaining the behavioral "why" behind requested design changes.

 Preferred

• Background in high-velocity EdTech, D2C, or Consumer Tech product environments.

• Experience running unmoderated/moderated usability testing sessions and A/B testing frameworks (VWO, Optimizely).

What We're Looking For

A dedicated user behavior detective who looks past surface-level visual design to fix how users actually interact with a product. You are obsessed with understanding user intent, identifying where friction happens on screen, and giving our UI design team clear, data-backed directions to create a seamless user experience.
