Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

If declining flu vaccination- must complete on facility specific form.

Special Requests: Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed. RTO must be included at time of submission.

Shift & Scheduling: No call.

Unit Details: Common patient diagnoses include neuro/medical strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro intervention (TCAR), respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, CTICU cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, AAA surgery/trauma, trauma, and major postoperative surgery. Specialty equipment includes IABP, CRRT, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM.

Floating Requirements: Can be floated to any unit within the hospital. Must be willing to float to ED (holds), ICU and IMCU. Will have to float to MS and take an assignment that could include 6-7 patients.

14 days maximum time off

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
