Assistant Sales Manager - Gearboxes

Key Responsibilities

• Generate inquiries and drive sales for gearboxes and power transmission devices while building strong product and brand awareness across the assigned region
• Develop and maintain direct relationships with OEM motor customers, executing aggressive follow up strategies to achieve brand switchovers and expand market share
• Partner with the Marketing Manager to plan and execute advertising campaigns, select effective media channels, and represent the company at trade fairs and industrial exhibitions
• Lead the design and distribution of product literature and coordinate mass marketing activities (offline and online)
• Train and mentor representatives and service engineers, ensuring alignment with sales and service objectives
• Collaborate with the Product Engineering Group to support new product development and customer specific customizations
• Maintain and manage a structured inquiry database to track leads, customer interactions, and conversion metrics
• Support Sales and Marketing with business cases, product inputs, and service related requirements
• Contribute to organizational growth through training initiatives and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong technical understanding of gearboxes, motors, and power transmission systems
• Proven ability to interface with OEM customers and deliver business growth
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross functional collaboration skills
