Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Maximo Application Analyst to support, configure and maintain an IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) environment.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Maximo application administration, configuration, reporting and troubleshooting. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and end users to resolve application issues, improve system performance and support ongoing business requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, maintain and support IBM Maximo 7.x environments.Troubleshoot application errors, system deficiencies and performance issues.Develop and modify BIRT reports.Configure and maintain Maximo Application Designer.Support workflow configuration, cron tasks and scheduling.Develop automation scripts and support the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).Support database configuration, monitoring, tuning, backups and upgrades.Maintain and troubleshoot IBM WebSphere environments.Assist with application and database upgrades, customizations and enhancements.Document technical processes, configurations and application changes.Provide technical support and training to end users.Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify issues and implement solutions.
Required Skills and ExperienceHands-on experience with IBM Maximo application administration and configuration.Experience troubleshooting and resolving application issues.Knowledge of Maximo Application Designer and BIRT reporting.Understanding of workflows, cron tasks and system configuration.Experience supporting enterprise applications and integrated systems.Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with Maximo 7.5 and/or 7.6.Knowledge of SQL, XML and Java.Experience with the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and automation scripting.Experience with database configuration, administration and performance tuning.Knowledge of IBM WebSphere.Experience with application upgrades, workflow configuration and enterprise asset management systems.Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
