Position: Forklift Operator
We are recruiting a competent Forklift Operator to undertake various warehouse duties, including conducting pre-shift inspections, operating the forklift safely and efficiently, and accurately recording inventory movements. As a valued member of our team, you will collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
Please note, this role may involve heavy lifting, picking, and packing.
Training:
Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Skills and Qualifications:
Basic IT skills, with the ability to use computer systems
Strong team player, comfortable working within a close-knit team
Excellent proficiency in English communication
Job Offer:
Hourly rate of £13.62
40 hours per week
Shift: 14:00 to 22:00
Overtime paid at 1.25x or 1.5x, depending on the day
Weekly pay
Free onsite parking
Complimentary refreshments (coffee, tea, water)
Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out pre-shift checks to ensure the forklift is in safe working order
Operate the forklift safely and efficiently
Maintain smooth flow of goods within the warehouse
Load and unload goods from vehicles and storage racks
Accurately document xrexnqw inventory movements
Keep the warehouse tidy and organised
Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets and uphold quality standards
Undertake heavy lifting, picking, and packing as required
Requirements:
Valid Forklift Licence – Counterbalance and Reach or Pivot Steer
Previous warehouse experience
Strong communication skills
