Position Overview

The Director of Finance and Accounting will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO and acting as a strategic business partner in company-wide decision-making. This is a hands-on, full-service role requiring deep experience in construction and real estate accounting, cash management, and project-based financial oversight.

The right candidate will advance to the CFO.

Responsibilities

• Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO
• Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
• Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
• Expert in real estate and construction accounting, project accounting

Qualifications

• Prior leadership role with construction general or subcontractor
• Experience in all phases of multifamily commercial development
• 7 - 10 years' of accounting and finance experience
• CPA or MBA preferred
