Roles and Responsibilities

1. Operations Management:

• Manage daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor inventory and manage procurement of supplies while controlling costs.

2. Guest Experience:

• Ensure all guests receive a personalized and memorable experience.
• Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally to ensure satisfaction and brand loyalty.
• Monitor online reviews and social media mentions to address any concerns promptly.

3. Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and manage staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Create staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
• Motivate and inspire the team to maintain high morale and a positive work environment.

4. Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Analyze revenue streams and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
• Monitor occupancy rates, pricing strategies, and expenses to achieve financial targets.

5. Sales & Marketing:

• Collaborate with marketing teams to create campaigns that drive bookings and revenue.
• Build partnerships with local businesses, travel agencies, and influencers to promote the hotel.
• Monitor and manage the hotel’s website and online booking platforms to ensure maximum visibility.

6. Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure the hotel complies with all legal, health, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Stay updated on local laws and industry trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field

Experience: Proven experience in hotel management, preferably in backpacking hostels.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and revenue management.
• Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and online booking platforms.
• Strong marketing and networking skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.

Job Location:  Vagator, North Goa

Gross Salary: INR 22,000 + variable sales incentives
