Job Description
HCA Healthcare is seeking an Outpatient PreOp Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care for surgical patients before procedures. You will complete focused assessments, start IVs, verify histories and consents, administer medications, and monitor patient status. The RN will educate patients and families, coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and PACU teams, and maintain accurate EMR documentation. You’ll uphold infection control, safety, and quality standards while supporting a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.
