THE OPPORTUNITYOur client is seeking an experienced Configuration Analyst to join its technology team and support the configuration and enhancement of a SaaS-based insurance platform.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with hands-on Sapiens PolicyPro experience and a strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance systems. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective, scalable system solutions.
Hands-on experience with Sapiens PolicyPro is a key qualification for this position.
WORK SCHEDULEHybrid schedule: On-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (standard hours 8AM-4:30PM, but flexible start/stop for commutes days)Remote: Monday and Friday36-hour average workweekEvery other Friday off as part of a 9-day biweekly work schedule
WHAT YOU'LL DOConfigure and enhance Sapiens PolicyPro and related SaaS applications to meet business requirementsWork with business analysts, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective solutionsAnalyze configuration requirements and determine appropriate system solutionsEstimate, plan, and execute configuration work while meeting project and sprint deadlinesTroubleshoot and resolve complex configuration and system issuesParticipate in requirements gathering, solution design, sprint planning, and other Agile development activitiesPartner with QA teams to develop and execute thorough testing and validationCoordinate with release management to ensure successful deployment of configuration changes into productionDocument configuration changes, technical solutions, and system functionalityCommunicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersManage multiple priorities and assignments in a fast-paced environmentPerform other related responsibilities as needed
WHAT YOU'LL BRING4+ years of professional configuration experienceHands-on experience with Sapiens PolicyPro is highly preferred3+ years of Property & Casualty insurance industry experience preferredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experienceExperience working with P&C insurance products, processes, and systemsExperience working with insurance compliance data, including ISO, is a plusStrong understanding of software and computer science concepts, including conditional logic, algorithms, data structures, and complex troubleshootingExperience with software development or programming is preferredStrong SQL and relational database experience, including SQL Server and/or OracleExperience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment
