To Apply for this Job Click Here IDR is seeking a Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in San Antonio, TX. This role supports a mission-driven organization operating in the public-sector cybersecurity and technology modernization space. The ideal candidate will lead complex, cross-functional technology implementations and ensure successful delivery from initiation through operational transition. Position Overview for the Project Manager: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology implementation initiatives, from project initiation through operational transition. Develop and manage project charters, implementation strategies, detailed work plans, schedules, milestones, and performance metrics. Coordinate cross-functional technical and business teams, vendors, and implementation partners to align deliverables and timelines. Drive governance activities, facilitate planning and status meetings, and maintain clear accountability through action-item and decision tracking. Produce executive-level reporting (dashboards, status reports, risk assessments) and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests. Requirements for the Project Manager: 8+ years of experience managing technical or software implementation projects with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. 5+ years of experience managing enterprise technology implementations (e.g., cloud solutions, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity implementations, system integrations). 5+ years of experience building and managing project charters, implementation plans, schedules, milestones, risks/issues, dependencies, change requests, and deployment readiness activities. 3+ years of experience preparing executive-level project reporting, including dashboards, milestone summaries, and risk/decision-support materials. Working knowledge of SDLC and enterprise IT environments (infrastructure, cloud, or cybersecurity) sufficient to coordinate technical workstreams without hands-on engineering. Whats in it for you?
