Our client, a financial services firm, is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting, and to give senior leadership the analysis it needs to make decisions on growth, cost and capital. They are in the office 3 days per week.ResponsibilitiesManage the annual budget and periodic forecasts, working with business line leaders and finance partnersBuild and maintain financial models that track revenue, expenses, profitability and key performance indicatorsAnalyze monthly results against budget and prior periods, and explain the drivers behind variancesPrepare management reporting and presentations for senior leadership, the executive committee and the boardTrack expense trends, identify cost drivers and recommend efficiency opportunitiesSupport strategic initiatives, new business evaluation and ad hoc analysis for senior managementImprove planning and reporting processes through automation, better data quality and system enhancementsSupervise, train and develop junior analystsRequirements8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or management reporting, ideally in banking, asset management, insurance or another financial services settingBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; CPA, CFA or MBA a plusStrong understanding of accounting principles xzbcwsv and financial statementsAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skills, plus polished PowerPoint presentation skillsExperience with planning or reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive, Power BI or Tableau) is a plusClear written and verbal communicator who can present to senior leadersHighly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience managing or mentoring staff preferred
