Novelty Hill Capital is seeking a Senior Associate to join our investment banking team in Seattle. This individual will be an integral member of our deal teams and will have significant responsibility across the execution of M&A and other strategic advisory transactions. The ideal candidate is technically strong, commercially minded, highly detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams while maintaining a high standard of quality.
The role is well suited for an experienced investment banking professional who is looking for increased responsibility and greater exposure to senior bankers and clients in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

ResponsibilitiesLead and manage key workstreams across M&A, capital raising, recapitalization, and other strategic advisory engagementsBuild and review financial models, including operating models, valuation analyses, merger models, and transaction analysesPrepare client presentations, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, teasers, buyer materials, and other transaction-related materialsConduct company, industry, and market research to support transaction strategy and valuationAnalyze financial statements, operating metrics, customer and revenue concentration, and other key business driversDevelop valuation analyses using precedent transactions, comparable companies, precedent M&A transactions, and discounted cash flow methodologiesCoordinate and manage diligence processes across clients, buyers, lenders, attorneys, accountants, and other advisorsParticipate in client and buyer meetings and assist with management presentations and negotiationsCommunicate directly with clients and counterparties as appropriateReview and provide guidance on work produced by Analysts and AssociatesSupport senior bankers in business development, including industry research, company screening, relationship development, and preparation of marketing materialsContribute to the continued growth and development of Novelty Hill Capital
Qualifications4–7 years of relevant investment banking experience, with flexibility based on experience and levelExperience in M&A and/or other transaction-oriented advisory workStrong financial modeling and valuation skillsExcellent understanding of financial statements and corporate financeStrong written and verbal communication skillsExceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlinesDemonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and workstreamsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and senior executivesHigh level of intellectual curiosity and commercial judgmentBachelor's degree from an accredited university Experience at a middle-market investment bank, private equity firm, Big Four transaction advisory practice, or other relevant transaction-focused environment is preferred.
