Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Massage Therapist role based in Richmond, VT. The Massage Therapist will provide client-focused bodywork sessions, including therapeutic massage and other appropriate modalities, to support relaxation, pain relief, and stress management. Daily responsibilities include conducting client intakes, assessing needs, creating individualized treatment plans, and maintaining accurate session notes. The role also involves preparing and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment space, educating clients on self-care practices, and collaborating with other wellness professionals as needed. The Massage Therapist will demonstrate strong customer service skills, uphold professional ethical standards, and contribute to a positive, supportive environment for clients and colleagues.QualificationsDemonstrated proficiency in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage, with the ability to tailor techniques to individual client needs.Experience or training in sports massage and prenatal massage a plus.Strong Customer Service abilities, including clear communication, empathy, and maintaining professional client relationships.Current massage therapy license or registration in the state of Vermont, or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date.Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology and adherence to safety, hygiene, and confidentiality standards.Ability to work part-time on-site in Richmond, VT, Friday afternoons and evenigs as well as Saturdays. xzbcwsv Prior experience in a wellness, spa, or clinical setting is beneficial, along with a commitment to holistic health and ongoing professional development.
