About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Vice President – Sales to lead Restaurant Onboarding & Merchant Acquisition for our rapidly growing Ownly Food Delivery business.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for expanding our restaurant partner network, driving sales excellence, and managing large multi-layer field sales teams across multiple locations in India.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end restaurant onboarding and merchant acquisition across assigned geographies. Build, mentor, and lead large field sales teams comprising Regional Managers, Sales Managers, Team Leaders, and Field Executives. Drive daily, weekly, and monthly onboarding targets while maximizing sales productivity. Develop territory expansion strategies to accelerate market penetration. Monitor KPIs, sales funnel, conversion ratios, and merchant activation metrics. Recruit, coach, and retain high-performing sales talent across multiple locations. Partner with Operations, Product, Marketing, and Support teams to ensure seamless merchant onboarding. Drive governance, process compliance, forecasting, MIS reporting, and leadership reviews. Identify business opportunities through market intelligence and data-driven insights.

We're Looking For

12+ years of experience in Retail Sales, Merchant Acquisition, or Field Sales Leadership. Proven success in large-scale restaurant/retail onboarding and merchant acquisition. Experience managing large multi-layer sales teams across multiple cities or Pan India. Strong track record of consistently delivering ambitious business and revenue targets. Expertise in building, mentoring, and scaling high-performance sales organizations. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and decision-making skills. Willingness to travel extensively as per business requirements.
