Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and supporting schedules.Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting.Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and related reconciliations.Support intercompany accounting and transactions involving international operations.Assist with accounts payable, accruals, and other general accounting activities.Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying trends and discrepancies.Support external audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.Partner with the Controller on process improvements, reporting enhancements, and special projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.4+ years of progressive accounting experience.Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis.Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP/accounting systems.Manufacturing, distribution, or international business experience is a plus.CPA or CPA eligibility preferred, but not required.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
