Cement Plant Production Manager

· Direct and manage daily manufacturing operations for the calcium silicate/cement board production lines to meet volume, quality, and cost targets. · Ensure strict adherence to product specifications, maintaining consistent board density, thickness, and bending strength. · Optimize the entire production flow: raw material dosing, forming, pressing, curing, drying, and finishing. · Continuous monitoring and fine-tuning of process parameters (viscosity, moisture content, press density, wet forming, curing stages etc). · Coordinating with Maintenance teams to implement Preventative Maintenance schedules. · Managing production schedules, forecast demand, and coordinate resources to ensure timely delivery. · Supervise the production staff, allocate labour, and manage inventory and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. · Ensure that all products meet required quality standards and comply with industry regulations. · Monitor production performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs. · Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all the shopfloor employees. · Work with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and sales, to coordinate activities and achieve business goals. · Create and manage budgets for production activities. · Leading and Training Supervisors to perform effectively in line with management objectives. · Upkeep of all relevant data, records and registers including MIS to Management at regular · intervals on all connected activities. · Procurement, Raw material processing, manufacturing and post-processing activities. · Managing the entire lifecycle of ancillary products, ensuring they meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
