We're partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a strategic yet hands-on Materials Manager to lead inventory, production planning, warehousing, shipping/receiving, and logistics operations.

What You'll DoLead materials planning, inventory management, warehousing, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations.Ensure the right materials are available to support production and customer demand.Drive inventory accuracy and optimize material flow throughout the facility.Partner closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.Improve processes, identify efficiencies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.Coach and develop a team while fostering a collaborative, accountable culture.
What We're Looking ForExperience leading materials, supply chain, production planning, inventory, or logistics functions within manufacturing.Strong understanding of inventory control, ERP/MRP systems, and production environments.Proven ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution.Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to be visible on the floor and engaged with the team.Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Preferred ExperienceDie casting, metal manufacturing, machining, foundry, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or similar certifications.
