What You Will Do:

• Provide thorough dental prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, fluoride treatments, sealants, and individualized oral hygiene education.
• Capture high quality digital X rays and maintain accurate clinical charting to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and continuity of care.
• Partner closely with dentists and clinical teammates to create a comfortable, welcoming experience for patients of all ages.
• Recognize periodontal concerns and other oral health needs, communicate findings clearly, and help patients understand recommended care.
• Follow rigorous sterilization and infection control procedures while maintaining an organized, efficient treatment environment.

Required Qualifications:

• You hold an active New Jersey dental hygiene license and have completed an accredited dental hygiene education program.
• You are X ray certified and confident using digital radiography to obtain diagnostically useful images safely.
• You bring strong dental hygiene and preventive care experience, including periodontal charting and dental prophylaxis.
• You communicate with empathy, professionalism, and clarity, helping patients feel informed and at ease.
• You demonstrate dependable clinical judgment, careful attention to detail, and a consistent commitment to infection control.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Dentrix or equivalent dental software, digital charting, and modern dental workflow will help you transition smoothly into the role.
• Familiarity with general dentistry, restorative care, implant dentistry, Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, or chairside assisting is welcomed.
• Experience discussing periodontal health, treatment recommendations, and preventive care in a patient friendly manner is valued.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Earn a competitive hourly rate of $60 to $65 per hour , based on qualifications and experience.
