Role Description The Junior Interior Designer role at Painting drive is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The individual in this role will support senior designers with space planning, layout development, and selection of finishes and furnishings for interior projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing basic design concepts, assisting in the creation of construction drawings, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborating with painting and polishing teams to ensure design intent is executed on site. The Junior Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, help document project requirements, maintain project files, and support quality checks during implementation.

Qualifications

• 3D design should be compulsory
• Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client needs into functional layouts.
• Basic understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and contractors.
• Knowledge of FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, and furnishings appropriate for residential and commercial interiors.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, visualization skills, and an eye for color, texture, and finishes.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate within a team, and manage multiple tasks under guidance.
• Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced project environment.
