The successful candidate will oversee electrical works on site, supervise electricians and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Site and domesticOn and off toolsThis role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a proactive approach to managing projects and teams.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out electrical installation works in line with project specifications and requirementsSupervise and coordinate electricians and electrical subcontractorsEnsure all works comply with currentBS7671 wiring regulations and safety standardsReview drawings, specifications and project documentationConduct regularsite inspectionsto monitor quality, progress and safety complianceAssist withproject planning, scheduling and resource allocationMaintain accurate records of work completed and materials usedTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues on siteLiaise with clients, contractors and project managers to ensure effective communication and deliveryComplete electrical / MCS certification and DNO submisions.Proven experience in anElectrical Supervisor or Senior Electrician roleNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalentCity & Guilds 2382 – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations City & Guilds2391 – Inspection and TestingMinimum5 years post-qualification experienceStrong knowledge of electrical installation, inspection and maintenanceAbility to read and interprettechnical drawings and specificationsStrong leadership and organisational skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilityFullUK Driving LicenceDesirable (Training Can Be Provided)Fire Detection Systems Level 3 (Domestic smoke and heat alarm design)Battery storage systemsSalarystarting from £42,000 per year(depending on experience)Performance-basedbonus schemeCompany vehicle and fuel cardPower tools providedOpportunities fortraining and career developmentSupportive and friendly working environmentHow to ApplyIf you are an experienced electrician ready to step into a leadership role, we would love to hear from you.Please send yourCV and a short cover letteroutlining your experience to:MEP South West Ltd is an equal opportunities employer.
