About us

TheWiFy is a cloud guest-WiFi platform for venues, MSPs and ISPs. It provides cloud RADIUS authentication, branded captive portals, customer engagement and white-label MSP monetisation, and it runs on the WiFi hardware our customers already own. We're a young, fast-moving team building a multi-tenant platform used by hotels, cafés, malls, coworking spaces and campuses.

What you'll do

• Integrate customer and partner hardware with our platform: MikroTik RouterOS Hotspot, Cisco Meraki, Aruba (IAP/Instant On/ClearPass), UniFi, TP-Link Omada and Ruckus.
• Configure and troubleshoot RADIUS AAA end to end: authentication, accounting, CoA/Disconnect (RFC 3576/5176), vendor-specific attributes and per-tenant attribute mapping.
• Help operate and harden our FreeRADIUS HA cluster on Google Cloud, including capacity, failover, anycast and monitoring.
• Own captive-portal redirect flows: walled gardens, DNS, redirect issues, and device and OS quirks.
• Onboard MSP and ISP partners technically: NAS setup, guest VLANs, bandwidth and quota policies, and VPN tunnels between sites and the cloud.
• Write and maintain vendor setup guides, config templates and scripts for our docs.
• Act as escalation point for network issues from partners and venues, and feed bugs and product gaps back to the dev team.
• Test new firmware versions and new hardware vendors before we certify them.

Must have

• Strong hands-on MikroTik RouterOS experience (Hotspot, RADIUS, firewall, queues). MTCNA required; MTCRE/MTCINE preferred.
• Solid FreeRADIUS experience, or strong RADIUS experience on another server.
• At least one controller platform: Meraki, Aruba, UniFi, Omada or Ruckus.
• Solid fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, routing (OSPF/BGP basics), 802.1X/WPA-Enterprise.
• Comfortable on Linux, with packet capture (tcpdump/Wireshark) and scripting (Bash or Python).
• Clear written English. You'll deal directly with partners.

Nice to have

• Experience at an ISP, WISP, hotel/hospitality IT or a managed WiFi provider.
• Cloud networking on GCP or AWS (VPCs, load balancers, anycast).
• Monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana or Zabbix, plus Docker or Kubernetes basics.
• CCNA/CCNP, Aruba ACMA or similar certifications.
