Position Overview: Coverage Dates: 09/01 18/2027Schedule: Monday Wednesday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PMSetting: Outpatient cancer centerNo call, no weekends requiredCoverage for existing provider during maternity leave Clinical Details: Patient population: Adult and GeriatricPractice mix: 60% Hematology / 40% OncologyAverage outpatient volume: 13 patients/dayLimited inpatient involvement ( 2 patients/day, consult-based)Participation in tumor board discussions Practice Environment: Single-physician practice with 1 APP supportEPIC EMRNurse-led chemotherapy administrationLevel II trauma center affiliationStrong oncology nursing and support staff Responsibilities: Outpatient hematology and oncology carePatient evaluations and follow-upsOrdering and interpreting labs and imagingChemotherapy and treatment managementParticipation in tumor board Compensation & Travel Support: Travel reimbursement available (flight, hotel, rental car)Mileage reimbursed per IRS standard rate Requirements: Board Certified Hematology & Oncology (or truly BE considered)Active Ohio license preferredBLS requiredClean background requiredAvailability confirmation for full assignment period requiredCurrent NPDB self-query within 30 days of submission Why This Opportunity?
