Job Role: Senior SAP HCM Payroll & Time Management Consultant Location: Bangalore, India Work Mode: Hybrid Shift: 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM IST (CET Time Zone) Notice Period: Immediate Joiners / Short Notice Preferred Interview Mode: Virtual Experience: 5–8 Years Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 Years in SAP HCM with strong hands-on experience in SAP ECC HCM, SAP Payroll, and SAP Time Management Budget: Maximum 30 LPA Mandatory Skills: SAP ECC SAP HCM SAP Payroll SAP Time Management Payroll Processing Time Evaluation Personnel Administration Global Payroll REQUIREMENT FOR SENIOR SAP HCM PAYROLL & TIME MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT: Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, maintain, and support SAP ECC HCM solutions with primary focus on Payroll and Time Management . Work extensively on SAP HCM Payroll processes, including payroll processing, payroll validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. Configure and support SAP Time Management processes including work schedules, absences, attendances, time quotas, and time evaluation. Analyze business requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP HCM functional solutions . Support end-to-end Payroll and Time Management business processes for worldwide/global operations. Configure and maintain Payroll schemas, Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), wage types, payroll areas, and payroll-related processes . Support payroll simulation, payroll runs, retroactive accounting, payroll reconciliation, and payroll error analysis. Work on Time Evaluation , work schedules, attendance, absence management, overtime, and time quota processes. Ensure proper integration between Personnel Administration, Time Management, and Payroll . Support integration of SAP HCM with third-party HR, payroll, and time-management systems . Work on SAP interfaces, IDocs, inbound/outbound files, and middleware integrations related to HR and payroll. Perform functional analysis, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management issues. Prepare and execute functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), regression testing, and UAT activities. Prepare test scenarios, test cases, functional documentation, and support business users during testing cycles. Coordinate with ABAP developers, technical teams, integration teams, and business stakeholders for enhancements and issue resolution. Support production incidents, service requests, change requests, and enhancements within defined SLAs. Participate in SAP HCM implementation, enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support payroll-related audits, compliance requirements, and process improvements. Work closely with global HR and payroll stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective SAP solutions. Provide functional guidance, knowledge transfer, and support to team members and business users. Who Can Apply? ✔️ 5–8 years of experience in SAP HCM . ✔️ Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in SAP ECC HCM . ✔️ Strong experience in SAP HCM Payroll . ✔️ Strong experience in SAP HCM Time Management . ✔️ Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP Payroll processing . ✔️ Hands-on experience with Payroll schemas and Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs) . ✔️ Strong knowledge of Wage Types, Payroll Areas, Payroll Control Records, and Payroll Processing . ✔️ Experience with Payroll simulation, payroll runs, retroactive accounting, and payroll troubleshooting . ✔️ Strong knowledge of Time Management and Time Evaluation . ✔️ Experience with Work Schedules, Absence Management, Attendance Management, Time Quotas, and Overtime . ✔️ Strong understanding of integration between SAP PA, Time Management, and Payroll . ✔️ Experience in SAP HCM Personnel Administration (PA) . ✔️ Good knowledge of SAP HCM interfaces, IDocs, middleware, and third-party HR/payroll integrations . ✔️ Experience in functional testing, SIT, regression testing, UAT, and defect resolution . ✔️ Experience supporting global/worldwide SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management processes . ✔️ Strong experience in production support, incident management, problem management, and change requests . ✔️ Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP HCM functional solutions . ✔️ Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills. ✔️ Good understanding of SAP ECC HCM integration with external HR/payroll systems . ✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ✔️ Good communication and collaboration skills with HR, payroll, technical, functional, and business teams . Nice to Have: Experience with SAP S/4HANA Payroll . Knowledge of SAP HCM Organizational Management (OM) . Experience with Payroll Parallel Testing . Exposure to SAP HCM interfaces and IDocs . Experience with third-party HRIS, Payroll, or Time Management systems . Experience with global payroll implementations/support . Experience in Swiss Payroll (CH) or other country-specific payroll processes. SAP HCM certification. Experience with Worksoft Certify or other SAP test automation tools . Exposure to SAP HCM technical objects and coordination with ABAP teams . Experience in functional documentation and knowledge transfer.
