Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with 2+ years of experience in IT staffing, recruitment, or technology consulting sales . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new client relationships, generating business opportunities, managing accounts, and driving revenue growth across the US market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts.
• Identify and target potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and market research .
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Hiring Managers, HR Managers, Talent Acquisition teams, Procurement teams, and MSP/VMS partners .
• Generate qualified leads and sales opportunities within the IT staffing and technology consulting market.
• Conduct client meetings, understand hiring requirements, and present appropriate staffing/consulting solutions.
• Manage the complete sales/business development lifecycle , from lead generation and qualification through negotiation and closing.
• Develop relationships with direct clients, implementation partners, prime vendors, and staffing/MSP organizations .
• Negotiate MSA, SOW, rate cards, contracts, and commercial terms with clients and partners.
• Collaborate with recruiters and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements.
• Maintain accurate sales activities, client information, opportunities, and pipelines in CRM/ATS systems .
• Track market trends, competitor activity, client hiring patterns, and emerging technology demands.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and business development targets .
• Expand existing accounts by identifying additional hiring needs, projects, and service opportunities.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, IT Staffing, or Technology Sales.
• Experience working with Tier-1 clients and Fortune 500 organizations is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to acquire, manage, and grow Tier-1 client accounts and establish long-term business partnerships.
• Strong experience in US IT staffing / recruitment business development .
• Proven experience with client acquisition, lead generation, cold calling, and account development .
• Strong understanding of US IT recruitment and staffing processes .
• Experience working with direct clients, vendors, MSPs, VMS, and implementation partners .
• Strong knowledge of IT technologies, software development, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and infrastructure .
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills .
• Ability to independently manage a sales pipeline and close new business opportunities .
• Experience using LinkedIn, CRM, ATS, and other sales/prospecting tools .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a target-driven mindset .

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing network of US-based clients and hiring managers .
• Experience selling IT staffing, contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire services .
• Experience with SOW/project-based consulting .
• Knowledge of MSP/VMS programs and vendor management processes .
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
