A national law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its New York City office. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial litigation matters alongside a collaborative and well‑regarded team.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of general commercial litigation matters, including significant work in New York State and federal courts. This position provides meaningful responsibility throughout all stages of litigation, from initial pleadings through discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive admission to practice in the State of New York5–7 years of relevant litigation experienceLarge law firm experience is strongly preferred
Experience & SkillsStrong written and oral advocacy skillsExperience in New York State and federal courtsDrafting and responding to pleadings and written discoveryDrafting and arguing dispositive and non‑dispositive motionsTaking and defending fact and expert depositionsExperience with real estate and finance‑related litigation preferredTrial experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits: $250,000 – $280,000, depending on experience and qualifications. xzbcwsv A comprehensive benefits package is offered.
