CBSE Middle & Senior School Teacher (Grades 6–12)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and dedicated CBSE teachers for Middle and Senior School who possess a strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum, pedagogy, assessment practices, and evolving educational landscape.

Beyond subject expertise, we are looking for educators who understand how CBSE functions as a complete academic framework and are committed to staying current with curriculum updates, competency-based education, and best teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
• Foster conceptual understanding rather than rote learning.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs.
• Integrate inquiry, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving into classroom practice.
• Use formative and summative assessments effectively to monitor student progress.
• Provide timely and meaningful feedback to students.

Curriculum & Academic Excellence

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the CBSE curriculum, learning outcomes, assessment guidelines, and competency-based education. -Demonstrate the ability to interpret and implement CBSE curriculum documents, competency-based assessment practices, and official CBSE circulars into effective classroom teaching and planning.
• Plan lessons in alignment with CBSE expectations while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
• Develop high-quality assessments, projects, and learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate academic records and documentation.

Technology Integration

• Confidently integrate technology into everyday teaching and learning.
• Use digital platforms, learning management systems, interactive tools, AI, and educational technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Use AI responsibly to enhance lesson planning, assessment design, differentiated instruction, student feedback, and teacher productivity while modelling ethical and responsible AI use for students

Student Development and Collaboration

• Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Build strong relationships with students based on trust and mutual respect.
• Encourage curiosity, independence, resilience, and responsibility.
• Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan curriculum, assessments, interdisciplinary learning, and school initiatives.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, professional learning, school events, and parent interactions.
• Contribute positively to the overall school culture.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject.
• B.Ed. (Mandatory).
• Master's Degree preferred.

Experience and Essential Skills

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a recognised CBSE school (subject to role).
• Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum implementation across Middle and/or Senior School.
• Experience teaching CBSE Board classes will be an added advantage.
• Experience in competency-based learning and assessment is preferred.
• Have an in-depth understanding of CBSE policies, curriculum frameworks, assessment practices, and academic expectations, beyond subject knowledge.
• Stay updated with the latest CBSE circulars, curriculum revisions, examination reforms, competency-based assessment models, and educational best practices.
