A leading national law firm is looking for a Senior Associate with 5–6 years of healthcare litigation experience to join its Healthcare Litigation practice within its Trial Practice Group.
This is a specialist opportunity focused on the commercial realities of healthcare, particularly disputes between providers and payors over reimbursement, managed care agreements and revenue cycle issues.
The work includes:Commercial and government healthcare reimbursement disputes.Managed care litigation and disputes involving payer audits, coding, billing and payment practices.Complex litigation and arbitration involving healthcare providers and insurers.Matters involving provider revenue cycle management, with direct client engagement.Managing litigation strategy, matters and teams through all stages of a dispute.
The wider practice also handles significant healthcare antitrust and reimbursement litigation, government investigations and disputes involving hospitals, health systems and physician groups.
Who would suit this role?An attorney with 5–6 years of healthcare litigation experience who can combine strong written advocacy and litigation management with an understanding of the business pressures facing healthcare providers. Experience with provider reimbursement, managed care agreements and coding or billing principles is particularly relevant.
You should be comfortable taking ownership of matters, managing teams and building trusted relationships with provider clients.
