Pay Rate: £16.09 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday | 2:45pm - 10:45pm
Job Type: Full-time | Temp to Perm

Machine Operators Required - Food Production
Quest Employment are currently recruiting for 2 Machine Operators to join a well-established food production business based in Brackmills, Northampton.
This is a great opportunity for reliable and hardworking candidates who are willing to learn and develop machine operating skills within a busy food production environment.
Successful candidates will receive training to operate mill machinery and heat treatment equipment. The role will involve regular manual handling, loading ingredients, following production instructions and maintaining high standards of hygiene, quality and safety.
The Role
As a Mill & Heat Treatment Machine Operator, your duties may include:
Operating and monitoring mill machinery following training

Operating heat treatment equipment following training

Loading bags of ingredients weighing between 5kg and 25kg

Following production instructions and batch requirements

Carrying out quality checks during production

Completing production paperwork accurately

Keeping machinery and work areas clean and tidy

Supporting cleaning and hygiene duties where required

Working safely in a food production environment

Following food hygiene, HACCP and health and safety procedures

Reporting any machine issues, faults or quality concerns

What We're Looking For
We are looking for candidates who:
Are reliable, punctual and hardworking

Are willing to learn machine operating processes

Are comfortable lifting and handling bags weighing 5kg-25kg

Have good spoken and written English

Can follow instructions and complete paperwork accurately

Are comfortable working in a busy production environment

Have good attention to detail

Can work well as part of a team

Have previous manufacturing, food production or machine operating experience, desirable but not essential
