This inpatient facility operates as a 200-plus bed medical center that includes a cancer center and a STEMI center. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and imaging resources necessary to support interventional radiology and diagnostic imaging service delivery within an established procedural radiology environment. Clinical operations are structured to accommodate day shift and 24-hour call coverage on an on-site basis.

The interventional/diagnostic radiologist will provide on-site inpatient day shift coverage with 24-hour call responsibilities at this California facility, performing diagnostic reads and interventional radiology procedures as required. Clinical responsibilities include reading film X-rays, ultrasounds, CT, and IR cases, as well as performing plain film X-rays, ultrasounds, CT, lumbar punctures, barium swallows, fluoro studies, and C-arm and O-arm imaging. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and clinicians must maintain availability to respond to inpatient cases during assigned call periods. Board certification is required for consideration.
