Location: Las Vegas, Nevada Position Type: Full-Time Reports To: Board of Directors
Position Summary
We are seeking a forward-looking Chief Executive Officer to lead an established transportation company through a period of significant industry change and opportunity. The CEO will be responsible for the overall strategic, financial, and operational performance of the company while helping define what the organization should become in the years ahead. The ideal candidate will understand how to compete effectively in today’s transportation environment while actively evaluating emerging technologies, autonomous vehicles, rideshare competition, new business models, and other developments that could reshape the industry. They will be an inspirational leader who can inspire the team through both day-to-day operations and change management initiatives as the company evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s long-term strategic vision in partnership with the Board.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, operational performance, and long-term financial strength.
- Evaluate competitive threats and identify opportunities to strengthen the company’s market position.
- Continually assess emerging technologies, transportation trends, autonomous vehicles, AI, digital platforms, vendors, and partnerships that may benefit the business.
- Provide inspirational leadership, demonstrating all expectations outlined below related to leadership presence.
- Lead and develop the company’s senior management team while creating accountability around company goals and performance.
- Oversee major operational and capital decisions, including fleet strategy, vehicle purchasing, technology investments, and significant expenditures.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with the Board and provide clear, timely reporting and strategic recommendations.
- Lead or participate in labor negotiations and maintain productive relationships with union leadership.
- Represent the company with regulators, government officials, industry organizations, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure the company remains adaptable, competitive, and positioned to respond to future changes in transportation.

- Experience in transportation, mobility, logistics, fleet operations, technology, or another regulated and operationally complex industry is preferred.

Success will be measured by financial performance, revenue growth, operational execution, leadership effectiveness, competitive positioning, and the ability to anticipate and respond to technological and industry change.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have:
- 15+ years executive management experience in transportation, taxicab, fleet, logistics, hospitality, or a similar operational environment.
- Past experience working with a Board of Directors
- Proven strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing employees in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to generate effective written reports (qualitative and quantitative).
- Ability to analyze operational information and resolve problems effectively.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies, employee relations, or union environments is preferred.
