<p> Join an amazing global healthcare organization! </p><p> Excellent compensation package!</p><p> Awesome benefits, including dependent tuition reimbursement!</p><p> Shift : </p><p> Casual/On-Call (less than 20 hours)</p><p> Rotating Shift; Hours vary </p><p> Weekend Required: Yes </p><p> Position Summary: </p><p> Under general supervision, the PRN Pharmacist is responsible for the efficient and accurate provision of pharmaceuticals, supplies, and drug information according to established standards of practice. Duties may be performed in one or more areas of the Medical Center, including Patient Care Areas and the Pharmacy. Assumes responsibility for all drug distribution, clinical, educational and research activities regarding rational and cost effective medication use in the assigned area(s) of practice. An overarching requirement is the ongoing development and maintenance of Professional Interactive skills. </p><p> Education: </p><p> Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelors or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy. Enhanced knowledge and abilities can be acquired through post-degree course work, residencies, and/or other professional experience. </p><p> Licensure/Certification: </p><p> Current state licensure as a Pharmacist. </p><p> Required Work Experience: </p><p>6 months of related experience required. </p><p> Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: </p><ul><li><p> Work requires the analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems or design relatively </p><p> complex systems and programs that cross department/divisional lines. </p></li><li><p> Work requires the ability to exchange information, maintain patient and employee confidentiality, greet visitors, explain medical center policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel. This type of interaction requires courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors and/or medical center employees. More sensitive situations may be referred to others as appropriate. </p></li> </ul> <p> Flat Rate: $75/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
