ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED | On-site in Huntsville, AL | Full-timeAbout the RoleYou will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating secure, high-performance network environments across on-premises infrastructure, public cloud, and restricted/enclave-based domains. This role requires strong hands-on experience with cloud networking, software-defined networking (SDN), and Kubernetes/container networking.Most of your work will be performed on-site at customer locations in Huntsville, supporting secure and mission-critical network environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, architect, and configure restricted networks and secure inter-domain routingImplement network segmentation, access controls, and security policies across cloud and on-premises environmentsBuild, configure, and manage cloud networking infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCPConfigure, troubleshoot, and optimize multicast UDP and broadcast UDP traffic for high-throughput applicationsDeploy and maintain software-defined networking platforms and hardware-based network appliancesIntegrate network services with Kubernetes using CNI plugins and container-native networkingEstablish connectivity between remote cloud instances and on-premises data centers, ensuring reliable routing and optimized latencySupport hybrid-cloud architectures and secure connectivity between remote enclavesAutomate network provisioning and configuration changes using Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Implement network monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain network health and identify security eventsCollaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams to establish network access protocols, firewall rules, and connectivity requirementsCreate and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles
Must-Have QualificationsActive Secret clearance5+ years of professional networking experience, with a strong focus on cloud and software-defined environmentsProven experience designing and supporting restricted/compliant networks and secure inter-domain or enclave communicationsHands-on experience with cloud networking concepts and technologies, including VPCs, VNets, peering, and transit gatewaysStrong experience working with Linux operating systemsPractical experience troubleshooting and managing multicast UDP and broadcast UDP trafficExperience with both software-defined and hardware-based networking technologiesDirect hands-on experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting networking within Kubernetes clustersAbility to design and maintain secure routing paths between isolated networks, domains, or enclaves

Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of professional networking experience
